I enjoy a lot cycling, specially touring. Here you will find some one-day rides and touring trips I've done.
On each of these pages you will find, along general remarks about the route, links to GPS routes and tracks. I find portable GPS receivers an invaluable help in my rides. Currently I'm using a Garmin Vista HCx for navigation and trip data gathering, and I'm very happy with it.
Cycling in Scotland
I used to live in Edinburgh, Scotland (UK), and the while the weather is not always nice, this area is full of dramatic landscapes and twisty roads that will challenge even the most seasoned cyclists.- Dumbarton Great Circular Route. 190Km of impressive scenery near Loch Lomond.
- Edinburgh to Berwick-Upon-Tweed. 91.5km, excellent option for a day trip
